GOPRO [FUN]
After creating video's for my proposal with my gopro, I took, or Experimented with the Gopro Photo feature, it creates a fish eye effect on everypicture, which i think is very interesting and it can be a fun experience playing around with this feature. Like my first gopro picture
(END OF THE YEAR TAB), the fish eye creates a cool effect on portraits, which i plan on doing more off later on in my career.

[Self-Potrait]2
After the first self-portrait assignment, I enjoyed the experience and I wanted to get comfortable with this style of photography, so it can benefit me later on in my career in photography or digital media. Im not quiet satisfied with this one, as more as the first one but it was worth the try and hands on experience/Practice. This time, I wanted to caputre my style in fashion, but i didnt get enough satisfaction out of it. The background, really interest me, it was an art piece created by an artist here at SDSCPA, that was hanged up on display. I plan on taking more picture of different people on this specific background before i leave.
Two Faced [Self-Portrait]
Ironically, As a Digital photographer and a Photoshop editor, I'm afraid of taking self-portaits. Personally, I'm quiet photoshy, and I've never taken snapshots with my family and friends, because im afraid of the outcome of my apperance. Although I love being behind the camera, capturing, and controlling every moment. Being behind the camera makes me feel dominate about what goes in and out, what makes it too my computer, to photoshop and then becoming a master piece. Hence the name of the piece, Two faced. I made an exception to experiment and take my self portrait for the first time, and this is the outcome.
Practicing portraits for senior x
|
|
Throughout the 2015 year, i've been practicing my portrait photography more often, Due to my SENIOR=X. I have Folders with dozens of pictures and I've come across serveral favorites and i've come across horrible ones. RARELY, i would get acouple good ones out of a hundred picture's. it takes alot of experience to take really good portraits and to point out the goods/bads. During the time spent, i've enjoyed every photoshoot and it really excites me that i have more pictures to work with. COLLECTING, all these pictures will always hold a feel or memory, looking back at them, makes me realize things change in a blink of an eye.
CabinFever. [Personal Project]
|
This is Cabin Fever.
This is my picture influenced by the artists presented by the museum in downtown. There was a lot of wood pieces presented in the downtown museum of contemporary art, and along with my senior x concept i decided to mix it in with my museum piece. Lost in the woods....blinded... alone and afraid. Stuck in a wooden cabin. She is free but not with the voices in her head. Crazy she may seems. She screams for help and she cries for rescue, but shes responded by the witch in the woods. I really love this picture. I took my time and slowly, step by step to make perfect decisions and choices so i wouldn't mess up. Covering her eyes, only because i didn't like her eyes, but significantly i dont know it means. |
The Temptations [Musical] This is my musical piece for the museum, in downtown. The first picture is a vinyl player and the second picture was wooden floor in-front of the schools office. Using my senior-x idea, i decided to put the two pictures together and make a double exposure.
The assignment ,was to create a piece responding to music., i love the oldies and one of my favorite oldies were The Temptations. Most of the Temptation albums are vinyl, so i made sure to include one in my piece. Music is very tempting, you can never stop listen to your favorite song, over and over. Your tempted to press play and sing along or even dance too. |
Zoey~
|
This is an additional series, to explore or try out different ideas for our senior-ex. This is my niece, Zoey, she is the favorite of the family. She's so friendly and loving, she puts smiles on everyone's faces. On a Saturday morning, i saw potential and i took out my camera and started to shot whatever came up, somewhat like street photography. And here is the outcome. I got a mix of crying, yelling, laughing and even pants eating pictures. Overall, i think these pictures are really good. This is something i would look into for my senior-ex, its a beginning to a new idea, i love these pictures. Looking back at this in the future will definitely bring back memories.
